PAM! Valencia, 30 April 2014.- The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the Hortensia Herrero Foundation entered into a collaboration agreement to promote the 2nd edition of PAM!, the artistic and multimedia productions trade show. This initiative, organised by the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Master’s Degrees in Artistic Production and in Visual Arts and Multimedia of the Universitat Politècnica de València, as well as the UPV-Universitat de València Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management, aims to the dissemination and the promotion of talented young artists.
PAM! is a cultural event with different kinds of activities, such as exhibitions, conferences, roundtables, workshops, and musical and dance performances. It is intended for students to develop their knowledge and skills in an active manner. The contribution of the Hortensia Herrero Foundation aims to support this initiative so that creation, research and knowledge are developed in this workspace, and so the artistic potential of students in these schools is valued by the Valencian society.
The trade show will take place between 6 and 9 May at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV. This is an exhibition of contemporary works of art, new artists who are beginning their career, and who use the university to do so because this is a meeting point where they develop their training and research.
